| I'm a hydraulics engineer by day and dabbling jewelry artist at night and weekends. I started in chainmaille about 3 years ago and have since branched out into wirewrapping and am currently learning goldsmithing. I'm using this as a repository for my work as I complete it. So there probably will be some repetition while I practice and get better. |
I miss it, but maille is a nice way to still be making things without needing a torch and such.
stained glass is really very easy, I love it, I miss working on it (I have no where to work on it in our little apartment, and no grinder)
True, the maille and wire wrapping is nice to do in front of the TV on a coffee table.
Yeah, unfortunately everything takes up an inordinate amount of space. Especially if you can't finish it in one sitting and have to leave it out. Even my little house doesn't have enough room for all my hobbies!
eventually, I would LOVE to have my own setup!
